Kirstin (KEER-stuhn) always wanted to train dogs, even before her first dog.  She started off working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician at a small animal hospital and stayed there for just under her decade.  She realized her dream to train dogs when she started teaching at a local training center in Lowell in the fall of 2010 after she had taken the entire class catalog multiple times with her first dog, Alia.

In 2015, Kirstin joined an up and coming training business located in the Grand Rapids helped build it into a full time job.  In the four years that she was there, she went from teaching one night a week to teaching eight classes a week and seeing multiple clients a day.  Kirstin was feeling the need for change in the spring of 2019 and joined a national non-profit organization to train assistance dogs for a variety of disabilities.

Kirstin completed her Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) through the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers in March of 2012 and is an AKC Evaluator for the Canine Good Citizen and STAR Puppy certifications.

Kirstin also has a passion for competition and is lucky enough to have dogs that feel the same way.  She is currently active in IPO, Obedience, Rally, Agility, Nosework and Dock Diving, and as long as her dogs are having fun, she will continue to add new sports to that list.
